exploring kyoto's vibrant streets and parks so easily accessible
During my stay, I loved the fact that I could stroll over to Nishiki Market in less than a 15-minute walk and enjoy the lively atmosphere of local vendors and delicious food. Being just 500 meters from Kyoto Tower offered some amazing city views. the staff's friendliness was also a highlight of my time here.

The location of Imu Hotel is fantastic. It's close to public transportation and several cozy restaurants nearby. I loved the free sake in the lobby. it’s a nice touch after a day of exploring. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. My room was clean, but the lack of shelves made it a bit tricky to organize my things. The mattress felt a bit hard too, which affected my sleep quality. The breakfast area got crowded, especially on weekend mornings, but the food was delicious with several options available. Overall, a pleasant stay with a comfortable vibe, just a few minor inconveniences.

cozy common area, convenient water machine, well-organized calligraphy activity
Room storage options are nearly nonexistent!!! A spacious bathroom without shelves is missed, hooks for jackets would be appreciated to avoid clutter. The lobby accessibility can be an inconvenience when locked!!! It’s a nuisance to not have clear communication about charges!!!

Just a perfect match for a weekend rest in Kyoto with very good value for money. The air conditioning was great for a hot August night. Make sure to arrive early for breakfast to avoid the crowd.

Recommend it for families wanting warmth
The staff went above and beyond, you could feel their kindness when they helped us navigate the area. Plus, I loved that the breakfast offered vegan options, something you'd be hard-pressed to find in a regular spot.
It wasn't exactly pocket change, but the experience made it worth it.

The location was ideal, on a quiet street yet close to major attractions, enhancing the overall experience. Enjoyed the free sake during happy hour, which added a fun touch to evenings. The room was a bit smaller than expected, which might not suit everyone, and fewer breakfast options may leave some wanting more variety. Overall, the team was incredibly friendly and made the stay memorable.
